Stage 11, where Carlos Sainz, the cunning Spanish veteran, is on the verge of victory with Audi, thanks in part to the problems faced by his closest competitor, Sébastien Loeb.
This stage, known for its treacherous terrain that caused many issues last year, has again been the scene of an exciting turn of events. Here, Loeb, the Bahrain Raid Xtreme driver, faced his challenge after an unfortunate incident, losing any chance of achieving his coveted first Touareg trophy.

The drama unfolded at kilometer 132, when Loeb, in an attempt to save time, hit a rock and severely damaged the front right triangle of his Hunter. This damage, affecting not only Loeb's chances but also changing the course of the race, benefited Sainz.

Meanwhile, Sainz, driving his Audi, showcased his mastery and experience. Starting the day with a solid lead, he continued to extend it, skillfully maneuvering through the challenges of the terrain. Despite the pressure, Sainz remained firm, demonstrating his ability to stay ahead even in the tensest moments.
The race to victory was not without competition. Drivers like Guillaume de Mevius and Mathieu Serradori stayed close to the leaders, proving that in Dakar, the battle is fought until the last kilometer.

With the final stage in sight, all eyes are on Sainz and his Audi team, aiming to crown their effort with a victory in one of the most demanding races in motorsport.
