The Race Of Champions, the renowned motorsport event that pits the world's best drivers against each other in a unique competition, has announced a significant change for its 2024 edition. The organization has confirmed that the event will not be held in Pite Havsbad, Sweden, breaking with the tradition of recent years.

This decision is due to uncertainties related to the use of land in the Pite Havsbad area. Despite having been the venue for two successful ROC events on snow and ice, the location will not host the event in 2024.
The ROC is famous for its format in which elite drivers from various disciplines such as Formula 1, NASCAR, LeMans, Rally X, MotoGP, and IndyCar compete in identical vehicles, providing a direct comparison of their driving skills. This format has been acclaimed by both participants and motorsport fans for its ability to equalize competition conditions and highlight the pure skills of the drivers.
The 2023 edition of the ROC saw elite competitors, including Mattias Ekström, who won the Champion of Champions title, and the team of Petter and Oliver Solberg, who retained the ROC Nations Cup.

Although a new location for the ROC 2024 has not been announced, fans and participants eagerly await more details about the event. The organization of the ROC usually reveals information about the participating drivers, the competition cars, and other specific details as the event date approaches.
For motorsport followers, the ROC is not just a competition; it is a celebration of skill, prowess, and competitive spirit in the sport. The 2024 edition, although in a new location, promises to maintain the high level of excitement and competition that has characterized the event over the years.
