This Thursday, the two qualifying duels for the Daytona 500 took place, in which Tyler Reddick and Christopher Bell emerged victorious.

In the first qualifying race, Tyler Reddick impressively made his way forward, overtaking Kyle Larson on the last lap to win. Starting from an unfavorable position, Reddick executed a timely maneuver in turn 3, taking advantage of a three-wide situation caused by slight contact between Alex Bowman and Larson. Reddick maintained his lead over Chase Elliott, winning by a minimal margin.

Jimmie Johnson secured his spot in the Daytona 500 after an intense fight with J.J. Yeley, crossing the finish line in twelfth place. The race experienced a moment of high tension due to an incident on lap 50, which affected several drivers, including Johnson. Fortunately, the incident did not result in serious damage and all those involved were able to complete the competition.

The second qualifying duel was equally captivating, with Christopher Bell taking the victory. Bell, overtaking Denny Hamlin in a clever move on the last lap, clinched first place.

The race was marked by a shocking crash on lap 46, affecting 11 cars and causing significant damage to Ryan Blaney's vehicle. Despite this setback, the race continued, with Michael McDowell leading in the final laps, closely followed by Hamlin and Austin Cindric.
