The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix was the setting for the second Formula 1 race of the 2024 season. The absence of driver Carlos Sainz, due to an appendicitis surgery, opened opportunities for new talents. Among them, Oliver Bearman, who made his debut with Ferrari and quickly caught everyone's attention. His skill and confidence on the track were evident from the start of the race, establishing his presence as a promising figure in the world of Formula 1.

The race began with Sergio Perez starting in third position, alongside Fernando Alonso. The atmosphere was charged with tension, with the drivers displaying remarkable concentration on each curve. Bearman, defending position number 11, showed notable control and composure for his first race, indicating a promising future in F1.

Charles Leclerc, driving a Ferrari, faced challenges in maintaining his pace, allowing Perez to close in. The battle for the lead intensified with Max Verstappen, who set a record time in the first sector. A sudden change occurred with an accident involving Lance Stroll, leading to the appearance of the safety car, and consequently, a series of pit stops by several drivers, including the leaders.

Following the race restart, Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton, who had avoided entering the pits, temporarily found themselves leading. However, Verstappen quickly took the lead, followed by Perez, who skillfully overtook Hamilton.

An incident between Perez and Alonso in the pits added more tension, resulting in a five-second penalty for Perez. Despite this, Perez maintained his performance, overtaking Norris and securing second place. In the final laps, Verstappen maintained his lead position. Perez and Leclerc fought to hold their positions, while Bearman, in a remarkable performance, moved up to seventh place, earning him the title of Driver of the Day.

The event concluded with Verstappen in first place, followed by Perez, despite his penalty, and Leclerc in third place. Leclerc's fastest lap added excitement to the final moments. This race was not only marked by the strategy and skill of the drivers but also by the emergence of a new talent in Formula 1: Oliver Bearman.
