Los Nogales Dirt Track 2024 Season Kickoff

Los Nogales Dirt Track witnessed the start of its racing season. The day was marked by thrilling duels on the track.

V8 Rookies

The day kicked off with the V8 Rookies Race. The wet track was a challenge for the drivers, where Alonso Reynosa (#43) initially led, but an accident took him out of competition. Ivan Armendáriz (#21) took the lead, followed by a tight fight for second place between Mario Carrasco (#68), Jorge Elias (#j24), and Diego Perales (24P). In the end, Ivan Armendáriz took the victory, followed by Mario Carrasco and Jorge Elias.

Pony Novatos

Pony Rookies

This race, with 21 competitors, was full of incidents, including rollovers by Alfredo Jimenez (#48) and Iram Najera (#26). Despite the interruptions, Efrén Soto (#76) won, with César Martínez (#91) and Juliam Téllez (#12) completing the podium.

Standard V8

With 12 cars competing, Gustavo Perez (#18) dominated from the start. The only notable battle was between Enrique Saldivar (#22) and Arturo Palos (#47), with Saldivar losing position due to contact. Perez won, followed by Filiberto Guerra (#F21) and Fernando Tapia (#21).

Pony Experts

The wet track also challenged the racers in this race. Iram Ruiz (#0) and Antonio Mata (#M18) exchanged the lead several times, with Manuel Perez (#13) also in contention. In the end, Antonio Mata prevailed, followed by Manuel Perez and Agustín Chavira Jr (#01).

Modified

In a thrilling race, Aaron Córdoba (#7) and Polo Loera (#33) had a tumultuous start, with Loera suffering a detour. Oswaldo Fierro (#7) took the opportunity to lead, resisting challenges from Omar Gardea (#14). Fierro won, followed by Gardea and Esteban Chávez completing the podium.

Pony Women

With a challenging track, Nora Castillo (#20) had troubles from the start. Ivonne Salazar (#1/2) triumphed, with Alejandra Soto (#76) and Diana Muela (#31) in second and third place respectively.

Open Category

The closing race was calmer. Christian Balderrama (#72) won, followed by Gerardo Balderrama (#72B) and Gustavo Pérez (#3).

The season opener at Los Nogales Dirt Track offered a spectacle full of adrenaline and surprises, setting the tone for a promising season. Competitors and spectators can expect more action in the upcoming races.
