Last Sunday, Gerardo Rodríguez achieved a notable victory in the Trucks Mexico Series in San Luis Potosí. In a competition featuring more than 20 trucks, Rodríguez started from the pole position, a spot he earned due to his excellent performance in qualifying.

The start of the race was marked by a tight duel between Rodríguez and Rodrigo Maggio, with Maggio initially taking the lead. However, Rodríguez quickly regained his leadership position. The event was characterized by its smoothness and the absence of major incidents, allowing the drivers to showcase their skill and strategy on the track.

Roberto Espinosa stood out by crossing the finish line first at the "Stage" on lap 40, but it was the young Jan Philipp Krüll who briefly captured attention by leading after the pit stop. Despite this, Rodríguez soon resumed the lead of the race, setting a pace that would lead him to victory.

The final stretch of the race witnessed an exciting showdown between Rodríguez and Maggio, culminating in a nearly simultaneous finish, with Rodríguez edging ahead to secure his second win of the season.

The top 10 of the race was completed by names such as Esteban Rodríguez, Carlos Novelo, and Andrea Lozano, highlighting the high level of competition in the series.

The Trucks Mexico Series circuit will continue its route to Tuxtla Gutiérrez. The next race is scheduled for April 13th.
