The BP Ultimate Rally-Raid Portugal 2024, one of the key races in the FIA-FIM World Rally-Raid Championships, concluded in Grândola. This race marks a pivotal moment in the season, being the third event of the year and the start of the second half of the championship.

In the Ultimate category, Nasser Al Attiyah of Nasser Racing by Prodrive secured a standout victory, surpassing local favorite Joao Ferreira of X-raid Mini JCW and Lucas Moraes of Toyota Gazoo Racing. With this win, Al Attiyah overtakes Carlos Sainz of X-raid Mini JCW in the world standings, claiming the top spot. Toyota Gazoo Racing continues to lead in the constructor's standings, closely followed by Prodrive.

In the Challenger category, Rokas Baciuska of Can-Am Factory clinched the victory, extending his lead in the championship over teammate Austin Jones and Nicolas Cavigliasso of Taurus Factory by Wevers, who finished second in Portugal.

In the SSV category, Ricardo Ramilo of Ramilo Scuderia achieved his first championship win, rising to third place in the standings. Yasir Seaidan of MMP, despite retiring, maintains the championship lead.

The event was also notable for the performance of Édouard Boulanger, co-driver of Al Attiyah, who now leads the co-driver championship, surpassing Lucas Cruz, Sainz's partner.

The next race of the championship will take place in Argentina, with the Ruta 40 Challenge scheduled from June 1 to 7.

  • Co-drivers: Édouard Boulanger leads with 107 points, followed by Timo Gottschalk (79 points) and Lucas Cruz (76 points).
  • Constructors: Toyota Gazoo Racing leads with 143 points, followed by Nasser Racing by Prodrive (120 points) and X-raid Mini JCW Team (77 points).
