With 24 races celebrating the 75th anniversary of the category

The FIA and Formula 1 have announced the 2025 calendar, which will include 24 races. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the championship, an important moment in the history of the competition. The opening event will be the Australian Grand Prix, held from March 14 to 16, and it will conclude with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from December 5 to 7. Throughout the year, races will be held across five different continents.

The month of Ramadan, which lasts throughout March in 2025, has led to the rescheduling of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabia Grands Prix to April. The traditional summer break will be maintained in August, offering three race-free weekends between the Hungarian Grand Prix at the Hungaroring and the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort.

The changes made to the 2024 calendar to improve the geographical flow of the races have been maintained for 2025. The sequence begins with the Japanese Grand Prix in April, after races in Australia and China, followed mainly by competitions in Europe during the summer and then races in America during the fall, ending with Qatar and Abu Dhabi in back-to-back races at the end of the season.
