Pascal Wehrlein achieved his sixth victory in Formula E at the seventh round held in Misano, overtaking Oliver Rowland (Nissan) on the last lap. Jake Dennis (Andretti) finished second, and Nick Cassidy from Jaguar TCS Racing secured third place right at the finish line.

Wehrlein, from the TAG Heuer Porsche team, managed his energy effectively, keeping him in a favorable position during the last 10 laps, with a 2% more usable energy compared to his competitors. Despite facing issues with his powertrain regulation due to heat, which temporarily reduced his acceleration capacity, he managed to overtake Rowland in the final turn. Rowland, on the other hand, experienced issues with the calculation of his remaining energy, which significantly slowed down his vehicle towards the end of the race.

Dennis moved up from ninth at the start of the race to second at the finish, while Cassidy made a decisive move in the last corner to pass Nico Mueller from ABT CUPRA and secure third place. Mueller had briefly led the race and was close to achieving a podium for his team, which had not seen such favorable results since Lucas di Grassi's victory in London in 2021 for ABT.

Regarding other competitors, Sacha Fenestraz from Nissan finished in fifth place, followed by Sergio Sette Camara from ERT in sixth, who continued the good performance shown by his teammate Dan Ticktum in the first race of Misano. Jean-Eric Vergne from DS PENSKE and the pole-sitter Jake Hughes had more modest performances, finishing seventh and eighth respectively.

Maximilian Guenther from Maserati MSG Racing maintained his perfect scoring streak this season with a ninth-place finish in his homeland, while his teammate Jehan Daruvala finished tenth, scoring points for the first time for an Indian driver since Karun Chandhok in the first two races of Formula E's history.

With this victory, Wehrlein ties with Dennis at the top of the drivers' standings with 89 points each, while Rowland falls to third, nine points behind. In the team standings, Jaguar TCS Racing leads, with a 16-point advantage over Andretti.

The next Formula E event will be on April 27 in the streets of Monte Carlo, Monaco.
