Verstappen Dominates and Takes Pole Position in Chinese Grand Prix

Max Verstappen secured the pole position at the Shanghai circuit after a dominant qualifying session in the Chinese Grand Prix. Following his victory in the Saturday morning sprint race, Verstappen continued his dominance in the afternoon qualifying session.

In Q1, Verstappen led with a lap time of 1m34.742s, followed by Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris. Sergio Pérez faced some setbacks but managed to advance to Q2.

During Q2, Verstappen maintained his pace and secured his place on pole with a time of 1m33.794s. Pérez surprised by securing the second position at the last moment, pushing the Ferraris to third and fourth place.

In the final qualifying session, Verstappen stayed at the top with a time of 1m33.977s, beating Fernando Alonso by three tenths. Pérez finished in third place, followed by Norris and the Ferraris.

Verstappen's pole position was historic for Red Bull, marking the team's 100th pole position in Formula 1 history.
