On the first lap, Sainz suffered damage to his car after contact with Piastri but managed to continue. A crash at the back of the pack involved Pérez and both Haas cars, causing a red flag and the race was stopped to remove the damaged cars and clean the track.

After the restart, the main drivers switched to hard tires. Leclerc maintained the lead, followed by Piastri and Sainz. The rest of the pack reorganized without major incidents. Bottas was the first to enter the pits, switching to hard tires. Most drivers continued managing their tires and positions, with little movement at the front.

Later on, Ocon retired from the race due to gearbox damage, while Gasly remained in tenth place, keeping Alpine's hopes of scoring points alive. Tsunoda set his best lap of the race, holding onto eighth place. Meanwhile, Albon kept pressing him, hoping to force an error.

Leclerc continued to lead with a more than five-second advantage over Piastri. Sainz and Norris kept battling for third place, while Russell and Verstappen had their own fight for fifth.

Alonso held firm in eleventh place, unable to significantly close the gap to Gasly, while Ricciardo kept pressing him from behind. Zhou pitted to switch to soft tires, aiming to set the fastest lap. Meanwhile, Piastri continued to defend his position against Sainz and Norris.

On the penultimate lap, Leclerc had an 8.8-second lead over Piastri. The leaders were focused on bringing their cars home without incident. Leclerc rounded the final corner and won the Monaco Grand Prix. The horns of the boats sounded and the local crowd celebrated his first victory at home. Piastri and Sainz completed the podium, while Norris finished in fourth place.

The race concluded with Leclerc in first place, followed by Piastri and Sainz. Russell managed to keep Verstappen at bay to secure fifth place, while Hamilton, Tsunoda, Albon, and Gasly rounded out the top ten.
