The Rally of Sardinia hosts the sixth round of the 2024 World Rally Championship season. Here we show you how and when to watch this weekend's action.

Sebastien Ogier achieved a record-breaking victory in the Rally of Portugal, his sixth in this event. However, it was Thierry Neuville who ended the weekend with the most benefit, extending his championship lead over Toyota's Elfyn Evans to 24 points. Neuville seems to be on his way to his first world title, as Ogier and reigning champion Kalle Rovanpera are competing part-time this season.

Rally of Sardinia Format:

The Rally of Sardinia will test a new sprint format, compacting the event into a 48-hour window. Drivers will tackle a route of 16 stages and 165.4 miles around the Italian island, compared to the 19 stages and 199.4 miles of the previous edition.

Ogier will be aiming for his third consecutive victory, but Evans needs a good result to keep his title hopes alive. Ott Tanak, who finished second in Portugal, is only seven points behind Evans and could overtake him in the standings. Adrien Fourmaux of M-Sport, with a surprising performance this season, is fourth in the table and the best driver of his team.
