This year, Ferrari, the current winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, has confirmed its driver lineup for the 2024 season in the Hypercar class of the World Endurance Championship.

The news is clear: continuity and confidence. Ferrari has chosen to maintain its stellar team, betting on synergy and proven experience. James Calado, Alessandro Pier Guidi, and Antonio Giovinazzi, heroes of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, will once again pilot the Ferrari 499P Le Mans Hypercar No. 51. This trio, which has already demonstrated its capabilities on the track.

This announcement confirms what Antonello Coletta, head of Ferrari Sportscar, had hinted at the end of the inaugural 499P season: the Italian brand seeks to consolidate its achievements and continue growing on a solid foundation. The decision to keep last year's drivers shows a strategy of continuity.

The 2023 season has borne fruit: a victory at Le Mans and six podiums in seven races. These achievements have not only enhanced Ferrari's prestige but also secured a valuable runner-up position in the constructors' championship.

Looking ahead to the 2024 season, optimism reigns at Ferrari. With gained experience and the ongoing development of the 499P, the Italian team is ready to face new challenges and seek more victories to add to its already impressive history. There is still anticipation for the third 499P, which will be operated by AF Corse as a customer team. Robert Kubica will lead this team, but his teammates are yet to be announced. Yifei Ye, recently named an official Ferrari driver, and Robert Shwartzman, Ferrari F1 reserve driver, are strong candidates for these coveted seats.
